The American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) is seeking young leaders from Indonesia to participate in a multi-phased Legislative Fellows Program (LFP) in the United States and Indonesia.

Legislative Fellows Program applicants must be:

  • University Graduates
  • Age 25-35
  • Fluent in English
  • Professional engaged in politics, elections, policy-making, civic education or grassroots advocacy
  • Possess demonstrated leadership abilities and a commitment to public service
  • Committed/ able to organizing a program in applicant’s country for American mentor that includes joint outreach and capacity building activities

OSI/FCO Chevening/University of St. Andrews Scholarships

The scholarships aim to provide opportunities for independent postgraduate study in the United Kingdom for students who have demonstrated both academic excellence and the potential to become leaders, decision makers, and opinion formers in their own country. Upon completion of their studies in the UK, scholars are expected to return to their home country to resume their studies or work.

Scholarships are available for study for the master's in International Strategy & Economics, the master's in Middle East and Central Asian Security Studies and the M.Litt in Peace and Conflict Studies.

Each scholarship provides tuition fees at the University of St. Andrews, a stipend to cover living costs (for one person only), and return air travel from the scholar's home country.

OSI/FCO Chevening/University of Essex Scholarships in Human Rights

The scholarships aim to provide opportunities for independent postgraduate study in the United Kingdom for students who are engaged in or intending to pursue postgraduate work in their own country and who have demonstrated both academic excellence and the potential to become leaders, decision makers, and opinion formers in their own country. Subject to satisfactory progress, the scholarships lead to the award of a master's.

The scholarships will enable suitably qualified students to pursue taught postgraduate programs within the Human Rights Centre at the University of Essex. The programs offered are the MA in the Theory and Practice of Human Rights, the MA in Human Rights and Cultural Diversity, the LLM in International Human Rights Law, and the LLM in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.

The scholarships provide opportunities for independent postgraduate study in the United Kingdom for students who have demonstrated both academic excellence and the potential to become leaders, decision makers and opinion formers in their own country. Upon completion of their studies in the UK, scholars are expected to return to their home country to resume their studies or work there. Subject to satisfactory progress, the scholarships lead to the award of a master's degree.

Each award will provide for payment of academic tuition fees, examination fees, a monthly stipend for living expenses sufficient for a single student, and other agreed allowances including one return economy airfare.
